Today was a beautiful weather day, a California day as I call it. Sunny, warm, very low humidity, and a nice breeze. It was a great day to do some errands.
Now here comes the silly part. I went to my local Joann Fabric & Craft store to purchase more yarn for the blanket I am crocheting for my Granddaughter Ivy (from Ivyland). I LOVE this craft store! I had saved a 50% off Joann coupon in my Joann fabric app*, When I opened the app while in line to check out line; to my dismay the coupon had expired the day before! I am usually really good at making sure I am prepared before going out to shop, but I slipped up on this one for sure. I ended up just handing the 2 skeins to the cashier and leaving. Of course, there was another coupon I could have used if my order was larger, but as I was tired from already walking around the store I just left.. Lesson learned (hopefully): Double check coupons before going to the store. *If you get the phone app you can save $$ at each visit. After a day and a half the www.LostInPA.com website is back up!
Yeah.. I am not a techie and am left to rely on others when trouble arises. The support people at Siteground have just been great about helping me get back to being online again. There is still editing to do but at least it shows up now..lol Along with the website I have also been working on my YouTube video channels. This is the first time I have actually tried to use "homemade" video's. In the past I have only uploaded product videos of items I sold. They were all produced by the companies who supplied me with the products. Now the *NEW* LostInPA YouTube channel will have personal vlogs to share the story we are preparing to tell. I am currently looking for the perfect offline video editor (for me). Currently using the YouTube editor which is basic and does the job to a point. I would prefer something that give me a little more flexibility. As I become better acquainted with the editing tools both on the website and YouTube the postings and videos should go much smoother. I have a lot to learn, as well as new equipment to try out and purchase in order for the quality to greatly improve. I am looking forward to the challenge of this part of our new travel adventures. The Story Part One: Our family has decided to investigate, learn, and eventually start traveling the USA in a vehicle. Along with this will come downsizing, and other life changing actions. I will continue the story in the next and future "blog bit", segments. Check out the newest video's, and please do not forget to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE & COMMENT after watching them. I welcome any questions and at time will be asking for your opinion(s). |
